Eurotune provide diesel tuning services for most Turbocharged Diesel Engines – Cars, Vans, Motorhomes, Utes, 4×4's and Trucks.

Modern diesel engines are managed by a complex network of interconnected components and sensors that manage injector duration, injection timing, turbo boost, common rail pressure, idling speed and the responsiveness of your engine.

At the core of these complex systems sits the ECU or engine control unit that contains the software programme (map) that tells the engine how to respond to inputs from the numerous sensors on the vehicle. We are specialists in diesel tuning / ECU remapping services.

When manufacturers ship new vehicles, they typically load diesel ECUs with very conservative maps that ensure their vehicles perform well in a broad range of climatic and terrrain conditions. For example; when setting the ECU in the OEM factory, the manufacturer must ensure that their Cars, Utes, 4×4's, Vans, Motorhomes and Trucks work equally well on the fast American motorways, the undulating terrain in the United Kingdom, the sub-tropical weather and mountainous roads in northern Thailand, the extreme temperatures across the Middle East, the icy winters in Ukraine, the rugged and arid off road landscapes of Australia, and the alpine passes and gravel roads in backcountry New Zealand.

Manufacturers must also anticipate in their ECU tuning maps that some customers con't service their diesel vehicle regularly, and that 3rd world countries have variable quality in fuel stocks. Obviously, some compromises are being made in order to accomodate such a wide range of diesel tuning circumstances. This is why vehicle Manufacturers need to restrict performance and impose limitations on a diesel engine's operational parameters. And thats why we offer diesel performance upgrades.

If you do a lot of towing or carry heavy loads on a regular basis, this is the diesel tuning map for you. These towing tunes are designed to ensure that your engine will be protected in tough conditions. You can expect 20-25% more Power and Torque which makes a huge difference on the hills or when starting off with big loads and getting across intersections. Our ECU maps have been developed on a dyno by and experienced team of tuners. This enables us to take into account the specifications of Australia and New Zealand vehicles, our relatively poor diesel quality, typical load and towing duties to provide the best blend of performance improvements. i.e. More Power – More Torque – More Response – Less Fuel.
